Eureka Ergonomic Gaming Desk 60 Home Office Computer Desk
The gaming desk line by Eureka Ergonomic screams GAMER; every design decision was made to increase the cool factor. The Z60’s most interesting feature has to be the RGB lighting that runs along the desktop edges. With 8 lighting options (6 color options and 2 rotating color patterns), you’re sure to find something that matches any LEDs in your PC case or on your peripheral devices. The RGB lighting can really tie together your entire setup into one seamless “battle station”.
Although it is wide and has two legs, the Eureka Z60 Gaming Desk is quite sturdy, thanks to the red leg braces that supplement the Z-shaped legs. Without the concern of slashed knees, the design is fairly stable. But the legs are spread far enough apart that there’s a little side-to-side wiggle when it is jostled in that direction, and the desk is low on comfort because it is a fixed height. There is no way to tailor the desk to specific user preferences, but even tall users can sit comfortably at the desk.
Eureka Ergonomic Gaming Desk 60 Review
The desk is well made, and the channels/PowerBar rack beneath works well; however, for a serious gaming desk, you should have at least 55- 60″, as the desk is way too small for serious setups. Glad I bought it, I would absolutely purchase from this maker, but I would rather spend the money on a bigger model.
The Ergonomic Gaming Desk 60 has the following features:
Sturdy and Stable Structure
The support structure of the Captain GIP-P60 gaming table combines robust load-bearing and structural engineering design. The I-shaped structure and F1 supporter help to improve the desk’s stability.
Fully Covered Mouse Pad
The captain GIP-P60 gaming desk includes a custom mouse pad that provides a top-notch user experience thanks to its ultra-durable stitched edges and premium rubber zero-slip base.
Large Gaming Desktop
The sleek 60″ desktop has ample space for gaming monitors, consoles, keyboards, and other gaming equipment. With the Captain GIP-P60 gaming desk, you can improvise with limitless possibilities.
Functionality
Gamers are characterized by their bad posture: they slouch and, over time, this can lead to the postural syndrome, characterized by “rounded shoulders, a hyper-extended neck, and a hunched back.” To improve your ergonomic situation and break this mold, a good chair will be required, and a monitor arm may be required. A gamer can avoid postural syndrome by maintaining the appropriate heights of their body and screen (regular exercise is also helpful). For gaming, this is one reason why we recommend a standing desk.
Cable Management
Cable management is one area where the Z60 could be improved on, as with other Eureka gaming desks we’ve reviewed. Some of Eureka’s gaming desks actually have built-in cable management, and these desks are less expensive than the Z60. Some other gaming desks, like the Arozzi Arena, also have a built-in cable management solution. Gaming computers are among the most sophisticated equipment, and the hobby can require a wide variety of peripheral devices. There are grommet holes in the back of the desk for cables to pass through, but after that they are free to hang.
Grip
The Z60 Gaming Desk’s biggest gripe, however, has to be the split desktop, which was echoed a lot in other reviews online. The Z60 is shipped in a box that is only about half the width of the desk itself. This means you need to bolt the two halves of the desk together during assembly, leaving a massive seam in the middle of the desk. We’re pretty sure it saved shipping costs to design the desk to be shipped and assembled in this manner, but you have to ask yourself whether the tradeoff is really worth it.
Pros & Cons – Eureka Ergonomic Desk – Black
Conclusion
The Eureka Ergonomic is a good gaming desk that takes some time to assemble but is easy to use. It has a strong gaming appearance, but it is large enough that it could serve as a workstation for other purposes as well, though the seam might make this difficult. Considering our understanding of ergonomics and their importance to long-term health, we need to point out that ergonomic options on this desk are limited and you will need to wear appropriate clothing to have an ergonomic experience. This Eureka Ergonomic Gaming Desk 60 could be a good choice if you’ve already chosen a fixed-height desk and need a wide desktop.
FAQ
Does it support Eureka ergonomic 360-degree rotating CPU hanger?
It depends in large part on the size of your PC. I have a different brand of hanger that works fine. To a point, but my pc is far too big for that spot, and it weighs close to 100 pounds, but I have my battery backup in the hanger, which is itself heavy and the same size as many pcs. It just doesn’t do a 360 because it runs into that slanted leg, so in its current state, it is much further forward than I’d prefer.
